I installed andLinux both as a service and reinstalled it as command line startup. Still after about 5-20 sec after I play with applications the whole monitor freezes. I cannot move the mouse etc...only a colde reboot helps.
I run Vista Basic, 32 bit on a Thinkpad X61s. My wildest guess is, it is a graphic related problem. Otherwise I cannot explain how it crashes...XP and Vista are normally rock solid for me and never crash that fully.
Any ideas what to do? |

Hi. I also have a thinkpad x61. It turns out that andLinux only crashes when the wireless radio is on; otherwise, it's fine. Is the same true for you?
I read somewhere else that changing the wireless card driver seemed to help, but that didn't work for me. If you manage to solve the problem, I'd love to hear about it. |

My X61 tablet in Vista Business has exactly the same problem, the system freezes when wireless radio is on (I have Intel 4965AG wireless card), and it also happened when I was using virtualbox and ubuntu guest.
I downloaded and installed the old wireless driver (11.1.1.3) for Intel 4965AGN and 3945ABG from dell and solved the problem. This is the only one I find working for me, but you may try some other old versions from lenovo. Also downgrade the system to XP will work. |

| I have the exact same problem, also on a ThinkPad X61 tablet. I haven't tried turning the radio off, but having to turn it off or downgrade my driver would be a big strike against andLinux. Any thoughts on this from the developers? |
